There’s metal bolted under the skull and tusks,
holding the immense skeleton, and displaying
Nature’s younger, wilder days.
She’s long retired these massive and fantastic
designs for a more modern and conservative style.
But out of nostalgia, she created a primate with
the curiosity to collect old parts, so they might
reassemble her ancient favorites.
Equally improbable creatures if you ask me.
